Master Cem Proof BB is a polymer modified 2 parts cemented multipurpose waterproof, combines with a capillary action and pore blocking effect, for excellent water proofing. Master Cem Proof BB is suitable for use in tropical and hot climatic conditions.

Substrate Preparation

Clean surface properly sound and free from grease, oil and loosely adhering particles. Use suitable mechanical methods such as abrasive blast cleaning, high pressure water jetting at sufficient pressure and volume, scrabbling or needle gunning. New or smooth faced concrete surfaces should be sand-blasted. All surfaces must be as true and flat as possible. Blowholes and irregularities should be repaired.

Mixing

Stir component A (liquid) thoroughly before pouring into a clean mixing container. Add component B (powder) slowly while mixing continuously. Use low speed electric drill mixers (max. 500 rpm) for 3 minutes avoiding entrapment of air. By adding the powder in portions, the desired application consistency can be obtained. For a trowel-able consistency use about 90% of Liquid component A.

Application

Prepare the surface by saturating the absorbent concrete surfaces thoroughly with water to achieve a surface saturated dry condition. While the substrate is still in a saturated surface dry condition, apply first coat and leave it to harden. Apply second coat after hardening of First coat, to ensure proper adhesion between layers. Apply with a roller or brush. To avoid risk of damage to the first coat, it is recommended to apply second coat after 24 hours. In such cases, the first coat should be slightly re-wetted.

Safety precautions

Use and wear personal protective like gloves, goggles, boots and clothing. Any accidental splashes to eyes or skin must be thoroughly cleaned with water
